John Malloy, Partner, is a founder of BlueRun Ventures, Nokia Venture Partners and Nokia Growth Partners and is based in Menlo Park. BlueRun Ventures is a global, early stage venture fund operating from US, China, Finland, India, Israel, and Korea. The firm is focused on investing in start-ups in the mobile, IT and consumer segments. John has successfully invested in a broad spectrum of technologies and services.
John currently serves on the Board of Directors of FusionOne, Riya, Slide and Varolii. Previous board experience includes PayPal (EBAY), Bitfone (HPQ), eVoice (AOL) and MongoMusic (MSFT).
Prior to starting the firm, John spent more than 15 years in management and executive roles at Nokia, MCI, and a communications services start-up.
John holds a J.D. from George Mason School of Law and a B.A. from Boston College.
